Scope

These terms apply to lakeholdings.com, published by Lake Holdings Corp LLC. Using the site means accepting them. If you do not accept them, the remedy is simple: do not use the site.

The content is provided for information

This site publishes a record of the businesses the company has operated, together with the documents, archived captures and dated events that record is drawn from. It is published so that a reader can check it.

Nothing here is investment, financial, legal, tax or professional advice. Nothing here is an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security, interest or asset, and nothing here is an offer of employment or a commitment to trade on any terms. Figures that appear are historical statements about what happened, not projections and not promises.

Accuracy, and the confidence markers

Entries across the site carry a marker showing how well supported each claim is: verified in a primary document, corroborated across independent sources, inferred, or asserted by the company without outside confirmation. Those markers are the honest statement of what is known, and they are there precisely so that a reader does not have to take the whole record at one level of confidence.

The record is maintained and corrected as better evidence appears. It is published in good faith, but no warranty is given that every entry is complete, current or free from error at the moment you read it. If you find something wrong, write to info@lakeholdings.com and it will be looked at.

Brand names, logos and trade marks

The names, logos and marks shown on this site belong to their respective owners. Where a brand is or was operated by the company, its marks are used by the company. Where a mark belongs to somebody else, it appears only to identify the business, product or source being described, and no endorsement, sponsorship, partnership or association is implied by its appearance.

Nothing on this site grants any licence to use a mark shown here.

Archived material

Parts of the archive are reproduced from public web archives and other historical sources. Those items are shown with the year they were captured and, where one exists, a link to the source, because a reproduction without its provenance is worth very little. They are published as a historical record of businesses that existed, and they represent the state of a website on the date given rather than any current business, offering or claim.

If you hold rights in material reproduced here and would rather it were not, write to info@lakeholdings.com identifying the item. It will be removed while the request is considered.

Links to other sites

The site links to businesses the company operates and to archive sources that hold the original material. Anything on the other side of a link is outside this company's control, and is neither reviewed nor endorsed by publishing the link.

Messages you send

You are responsible for what you send through the contact form or by email, and for having the right to send it. Please do not send confidential, privileged or sensitive personal information: neither route is a secure channel for it. Sending a message does not create a professional, contractual, agency or fiduciary relationship of any kind.

The site is self hosted and may be unavailable at times, for maintenance or for reasons outside anyone's control. No guarantee of uninterrupted availability is given, and pages may be changed, moved or withdrawn without notice.

These terms, and the use of this site, are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina in the United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

These terms are revised from time to time. The date at the top of this page is the date of the version you are reading, and continuing to use the site after a revision means accepting the revised terms.
