Junk Rabbit operated junk removal across Asheville, Arden, Hendersonville, Weaverville, Brevard, Fletcher and the surrounding North Carolina communities. Its own site copy advertised cost-saving per pound rates, but the pricing table published on the same archived page was priced by volume: $89 for a single item under 150 pounds, $199 to $550 for a quarter to a full truckload, and $49.75 for a partial cubic yard. Why it mattered
Pricing by measurement is an operational signature rather than a marketing device, and it holds whether the unit advertised is the pound or the one actually published, the truck load and the cubic yard. It is the same weigh, measure and classify discipline Boost Liquidation applied when it tested and graded every returned item individually. This company had been pricing physical goods by measurement for over a decade.
What changes is who carries the risk. Boost bought inventory before it could sell it and measured what it had bought, losses included. Junk Rabbit measured the same way and bought nothing, because the customer paid for removal. It was Boost's operating knowledge with Boost's balance sheet risk taken out.
